Congrats to Aiden Chavez for earning MHSAA All-State honors! He placed 8th at Ford Field and finished the season with a 32-8 record. Aiden’s work ethic, dedication, and leadership have set a strong example for his team. From early mornings to late nights, he’s shown what it takes to succeed. We’re excited to see what’s next year looks like for this talented wrestler!
Emmaline Kouw’s wrestling season ended after a 9-0 loss in the blood rounds, just one match short of earning All-State honors. Despite this, she made history as the first girl to win the OK Conference Championship, become a Regional qualifier, and qualify for the State tournament in the program’s history. She finished the season with a 24-14 record. On top of her success on the mat this season Emmaline also made the academic all state team! First individual academic all state since 2018! #studentathlete #proudcoach
While Justin Sanchez’s journey ended in the blood round, his senior season will always be remembered for his incredible dedication, relentless work ethic, and leadership both on and off the mat. Finishing his high school career with a 29-15 record, Justin has proven time and again what it means to push through adversity and give it his all. We couldn’t be more proud of the growth and leadership he’s shown this year. Thank you, Justin, for representing our team with heart and determination every step of the way. #StateQualifier #SeniorSeason #ProudCoaches #HardWorkPaysOff” #godux @duxsports_
